Eligibility
•Citizens of eligible developing countries specified by the Czech Government (such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Zambia)
•Must have completed a Bachelor's degree program when applying for Follow-up Master's degree programs
•Must have completed a Master's degree program when applying for Doctoral degree programs
•Must not be a citizen of the Czech Republic, European Union, or EEA states
•Must successfully pass the electronic application process, including online entrance test and interview if required
Details
The Government of the Czech Republic offers scholarships within the framework of its Foreign Development Assistance in support of foreign nationals from developing countries studying at Czech public institutions of higher education. The program offers scholarships for Follow-up Master's and Doctoral study programs taught in the Czech language (preceded by a one-year preparatory course in Czech language and specialized subjects) as well as programs taught directly in English.
Financial Benefits
•Monthly stipend of 14,000 CZK for Follow-up Master's degree students
•Monthly stipend of 15,000 CZK for Doctoral degree students
•Full tuition coverage at public universities in the Czech Republic
•One-year preparatory course including Czech language training for studies conducted in Czech
•Health care cost coverage under specified conditions
