•Be a national of an East African Community (EAC) Partner State (Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda)

•Be under 35 years of age at the time of application

•Hold a Bachelor's degree with First Class or Upper Second Class honors (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study

•Apply to study in an EAC Partner State outside your home country (cross-border mobility requirement)

•Meet the specific admission criteria of the chosen eligible university and Master's degree program

The EAC Scholarship Programme is an initiative implemented by the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) and funded by the German Development Bank (KfW). The program aims to train young East African professionals in priority areas such as STEM, Health, Agriculture, and Economics/Business, fostering regional integration and cross-border mobility across East Africa.

•Accommodation allowance

•Return economy-class air travel ticket for cross-border transport

•Research and learning materials allowance
