•Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program, or have graduated within the past two years in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Disaster Risk Management, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field

•Be at least 18 years old

•Have an excellent academic performance record

•Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of another official UN language is an asset

•Have no immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working with UNICEF

•Demonstrated interest or background in emergency preparedness, data management systems, or digital platform implementation

The UNICEF Office of Emergency Programmes (EMOPS) in Rome is seeking an intern to support the rollout and implementation of the Emergency Preparedness Platform (EPP 3.0). The intern will assist with user testing, training materials creation, user support, data validation, and documenting system workflows for field implementation across UNICEF offices worldwide.

•Monthly stipend provided by UNICEF to contribute toward living expenses during the internship period
