Applicants must have a doctorate or equivalent qualification. Applicants must have completed their doctorate within the last four years. Applicants must have a good command of German or English. The Humboldt Research Fellowship enables highly qualified researchers from abroad to spend extended periods of research in Germany. It supports research projects in cooperation with academic hosts in Germany. This fellowship is open to researchers from all countries and disciplines.

Monthly stipend (depending on academic qualifications and age), travel allowance, and support for research expenses.
