Details

The Master in International and Development Economics (MIDE) at HTW Berlin is an 18-month program taught in English. It is designed for students from developing and transitional countries who wish to enhance their knowledge in development economics. The program is part of the DAAD EPOS (Development-Related Postgraduate Courses) network. While self-financing students can apply by April 30, the deadline for DAAD scholarship applicants is August 31 for the intake in the following year.

Eligibility Criteria

First university degree (180 ECTS) in Economics, Business Administration, or Social Sciences
At least 15 ECTS credits in Economics
Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL ibT 96 or IELTS 7.0)
At least two years of professional experience after the first academic degree (required for DAAD scholarship)
Graduation date of the last academic degree must not be older than 6 years (required for DAAD scholarship)
Nationals of a country on the DAC list of developing countries
