The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) offers full scholarships to admitted international students. Students do not need to apply separately for the scholarship; they are automatically considered during the admissions process. KAIST is a leading science and technology university. The deadline provided is for the Spring 2027 intake, based on the typical Fall application period closing in mid-September.
Eligibility Criteria
- All international applicants who are admitted to a degree program at KAIST are eligible.
- Must hold citizenship of a country other than the Republic of Korea.
- Must meet the academic and language proficiency requirements of the desired program.
Financial Benefits
The scholarship provides:
- Full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the program.
- Living allowance of KRW 350,000 per month for Master's students and KRW 400,000 per month for PhD students.
- National Health Insurance fees.
