Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be international students (including from African countries) who meet the admission requirements for a PhD programme at the University of Auckland. Must have a strong academic record, typically an A- grade average or higher in their most recent qualifying programme. Must be commencing their PhD study. Open to all nationalities.
Financial Benefits
Fully funded, including tuition fees and a tax-free stipend of NZ$33,000 per annum (2025 rate, subject to change) for up to 36 months. May also include international health insurance.
