Details
The ETH Zurich Postdoctoral Fellowships programme supports young, promising researchers who have already demonstrated the ability to conduct independent research. The fellowships are awarded for two years and are fully funded, covering salary and research costs. Fellows are hosted by an ETH Zurich professor and conduct their own research project. There are typically two calls per year, one in March and one in September. The September 2026 call will be open for applications after February 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed their PhD within the last two years (from the submission deadline). Must not have been employed at ETH Zurich for more than six months at the time of the submission deadline. Must propose a research project with a host professor at ETH Zurich. Open to researchers of all nationalities, including those from African countries.
