The Government of Ireland - International Education Scholarships (GOI-IES) programme is a prestigious initiative operated by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). It supports high-calibre international students who wish to study in Ireland for one year. The scholarship applies to the final year of an undergraduate programme, one year of a taught master's degree, or one year of a research programme (Masters or PhD).
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be domiciled outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom
•Must have a conditional or final offer of admission to a Higher Education Institution in Ireland at the time of application
•Must demonstrate a record of outstanding academic achievement
•Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
•Must demonstrate participation in extra-curricular activities (e.g., humanitarian work, politics, arts, sports)
•Must provide a strong rationale for pursuing their study in Ireland
Financial Benefits
•A stipend of €10,000 for one year of study
