Monash University provides Graduate Research Scholarships to support students undertaking Research Masters and PhD degrees. The application process involves checking eligibility, finding a supervisor, and submitting an application during specific scholarship rounds. There are four annual rounds: International students apply by 31 March or 31 August; Domestic students apply by 31 May or 31 October. The scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and research potential.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must meet the minimum academic entry requirements for a PhD or Research Masters (typically a bachelor's degree with first-class honours or equivalent).
•Must meet Monash University's English language proficiency requirements.
•Must have identified a research supervisor and received an invitation to apply (where applicable for specific faculties).
•Must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) prior to the formal application if required by the faculty.
