The United Nations Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a recruitment initiative for talented, highly qualified professionals to start a career as an international civil servant with the United Nations Secretariat. The program consists of an entrance examination and professional development programs for successful candidates. It is held annually and is open to nationals of countries that are un- or under-represented in the UN Secretariat.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Must be a national of a participating Member State.
Education: Must hold at least a first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) relevant to the exam subject.
Age: Must be 32 years of age or younger in the year of the examination.
Language: Fluency in either English or French is required.
Experience: No prior work experience is required.
