The Government of Mauritius awards scholarships to deserving students who are resident citizens of member states of the African Union or of African Commonwealth countries for the 2025 academic session. The scholarship is tenable at public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Mauritius and covers Undergraduate, Master's, and MPhil/PhD programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
•Must be a resident citizen of a member state of the African Union or of African Commonwealth countries.
•Applicants for Undergraduate programmes must be above 18 years of age and should not have reached their 26th birthday by the closing date of application.
•Applicants for Master's programmes should not have reached their 35th birthday by the closing date of application.
•Applicants for PhD programmes should not have reached their 40th birthday by the closing date of application.
•Must have applied for a full-time on-campus programme at a public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius.
•Must meet the academic requirements for the chosen programme and institution.
