Details
The Government of the People's Republic of China has placed at the disposal of UNESCO seventy-five (75) fellowships for advanced studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These fellowships are for the benefit of developing Member States in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Arab States, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe and North America. The fellowships are tenable at a selected number of Chinese universities and are of one year duration. Selected candidates will undertake research as General Scholars or Senior Scholars. Applications must be submitted through the National Commission for UNESCO of the candidate's country.
Eligibility Criteria
•Be a national of a developing country in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Arab States, Latin America and the Caribbean, or Europe and North America
•Must not be more than 45 years of age for General Scholars
•Must not be more than 50 years of age for Senior Scholars
•Hold at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent for General Scholars
•Hold a Master's degree or Associate Professor title (or equivalent) for Senior Scholars
•Be in good health, both physically and mentally
•Proficiency in English is required
