EASE's environmental conservation efforts reached a significant milestone this month as we planted our 1,000th tree in the Upper River Region. This achievement is part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

The tree planting initiative, which began last year, involves local communities, students, and farmers working together to restore degraded lands and create green spaces. The program focuses on native tree species that are well-adapted to the local climate and provide multiple benefits including soil conservation, shade, and potential income generation.

"We are proud of this achievement and grateful to all the volunteers and community members who have made this possible," said the project manager. "Each tree represents our commitment to a sustainable future."

The initiative will continue with plans to plant an additional 2,000 trees over the next year.
